Kerby Ingram of Springfield, a Sacred Heart Griffin graduate and current student at Saint Louis University, was crowned the 2016 Sangamon County Fair Queen during the 58th Annual Sangamon County Fair Queen Pageant on Wednesday evening, June 15, 2016 at the Sangamon County Fairgrounds in New Berlin. 2015 Fair Queen Megan Urbas crowned the new queen on the first day of this year's fair, which runs until June 19. Ingram will serve as official hostess of the Sangamon County Fair and will receive the $1,500 Robert Pfeffer Memorial Scholarship, a $1,000 wardrobe allowance and expenses paid to the State Pageant held in January 2017 during the Illinois Agricultural Association of Fair's Convention held in Springfield.
