Alyssa is the daughter of Brian McGarvey and Amanda Lavin.  She is a 2017 graduate of Auburn High School and attends Southeast Missouri State University studying Environmental Science.  Following graduation, Alyssa hopes to join the Peace Corp for two years.  Alyssa was the 2016 Miss Auburn and was awarded an academic scholarship to SEMO and earned the Triathlete Award in high school.
